In an attempt to respect my mom's wishes while still providing relevant information, I share with you that Roger J. LaPlante (76) died some time last week in a Florida prison. Years ago, a caller to the show asked me about the former Worcester meteorologist and whether he was still working. I knew of his 1998 criminal conviction in Florida for the sexual assault of his then girlfriend's six year old daughter and shared that information on the air.
