A sex crimes case in Michigan has left veteran law enforcement agents shocked by the "predatory behavior" of a doctor. Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said that Dr. Oumair Aejaz, 40, allegedly recorded numerous women and children using hidden cameras as they recovered in the hospital.

Investigators uncovered thousands of videos while searching his home. The videos date back at least six years and include footage recorded at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township and Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc Township. There were also videos from a local swim club.

Authorities said that Aejaz also recorded sexual encounters he had with numerous women, including some who were asleep or unconscious.

"This is one of the most disturbing sexual predator cases I have seen in my very long career," Bouchard said during a press conference. "He violates literally anyone and everyone he can. From a 2-year-old boy to grown women, no one is immune from his disgusting predatory behavior."

Aejaz is currently facing ten charges, including one count of child sexually abusive activity, four counts of capturing an image of an unclothed person, and five counts of using a computer to commit a crime. A judge set his bond at $2 million.

"This individual potentially is one of the worst I've ever seen because there's no particular category," Bouchard added. "It's not just children. It's not just women. It's not just men. It goes from a 2-year-old to a grown woman. And so, the victimization is so broad and the perversion so great, that we're just beginning to wrap our arms around it."
