McDonald's is giving away free fries every Friday for the rest of the year.
The global fast food chain announced its 'Free Fries Friday' offer, which will allow all customers to purchase a free order of medium fries every Friday from October 27 until December 31 through the McDonald's app.
"Get a free medium Fries with any $1 minimum purchase, only in the McDonald’s app.* Make it fry day with a friend," the company wrote on its website.
Customers can claim their free McDonald's fries through the app with a $1 minimum purchase by selecting the 'Free Fries Friday' deal and tapping the 'Add Deal to Mobile Order' button. A contactless payment set up is also available with any major credit card linked to the McDonald's app account.
All customers will be limited to one free order of fries each Friday. McDonald's was previously one of several fast food chains to offer a free order of fries during National Fry Day on July 13.
McDonald's customers were able to get their free order of fries by downloading and signing up for the global fast food chain's smartphone app, which also offers the chance to earn points on all orders towards more free food. The free fries were offered in all sizes and customers weren't required to make a purchase to receive them at the time.
