Our General Manager was able to capture a Pileated woodpecker hard at work this morning, hammering away to either make a new home or find some breakfast.
Take a look at the video and below and listen to how loud it gets!
Pileated woodpeckers are native to north America and can be found in thick forests in northern Canada, the Eastern seaboard of the United States, and parts of the Pacific Northwest. They're mostly black with a red crest on their heads as well white stripes down the sides of its throat.
