Mayim Bialik's Explanation of Her Divorced Work-Filled Life Is So Relatable

If you weren't already obsessed with Mayim Bialik, prepare to be. The actress, who also just so happens to be a neuroscientist, joined Ryan Seacrest on-air on Friday, January 7, to chat her new role as host of Jeopardy and admitted her schedule as a working, single parent and it's so relatable you'll laugh.

"It's cuckoo. ... It's very full. ... I don’t go to the gym every morning. I don’t work out with a trainer. I don’t have that kind of life," Mayim admitted. "I don’t have a nanny or a housekeeper. I’m a divorced person so my kids are with their dad in the workweek, … but I get them Friday-Monday so I really hunker down with my kids on the weekend. … I do believe in the Sabbath … in terms of like shutting down for 25 hours a week. … I have to go to therapy twice a week. I will not have sanity if I don’t make that a commitment. … I do try to work out, but I'll be honest, the body that I want doesn’t go with the schedule that I have," she hilariously added. "… I look at these people I’m like, 'Well, they’re 46 and they’re on the cover of this' and I’m like, 'Yeah, it's not going to happen.’"

In her defense, she is very busy. On top of being the newly appointed host of Jeopardy, she's also juggling her mental health podcast, Bialik Breakdown, and rave-winning new show Call Me Kat.
