No End In Sight In Worcester Nurses Strike Despite "Rumors"

The CEO of St. Francis Hospital in Worcester says there is no agreement in place to end the long running nurses strike.

Hospital CEO Carolyn Jones messaged workers Friday after rumors began circulating that the eight month strike was ending.

She referred to what she called scuttlebutt.

Jackson says the nurses union is responsible for the rumors, blaming the union for disinformation throughout the labor dispute.

The walkout is the longest strike by nurses in state history.

It is nearly 9 months now with no end in site. And, there is no word on when the next round of talks will take place.
