Come down to the Lowell Elks Lodge in Lowell, MA and help raise money for Serrina & Autumn Cooper's memorial plaque that will be displayed at Tufts Floating Hospital for Children's PICU. The purpose of the Serrina & Autumn Cooper fund is to help provide comfort to the parents of children with long-term disabilities during their darkest hours, such as during the extended hospitalization of a child.
The ways in which comfort could be provided may include, but will not be limited to: short-term financial support for expenses associated with hospitalization; financial support for self-care initiatives, complementary therapies and alternative supportive services; and financial support for improvements to areas where the parents of seriously ill children spend a great deal of time, such as the PICU waiting rooms. Over $10,000 has been raised and there's more work to be done!
