A report by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says, "Among U.S. monkeypox cases with available data, 99% occurred in men, 94% of whom reported recent male-to-male sexual or close intimate contact." The report also states that 19% of men with monkeypox in the U.S. reported having 10 or more partners in the three weeks before symptoms appeared. The CDC is warning people to avoid," Spaces like back rooms, saunas, sex clubs, or private and public sex parties, where intimate, often anonymous sexual contact with multiple partners occurs—are more likely to spread monkeypox."
