Polar Park is a grand slam... for now. Covid restrictions have been lifted and the stadium is packed with fans enjoying the Red Sox minor league affiliate. The Paw Sox were wooed from Rhode Island to Worcester where they were reborn as the Woo Sox. Worcester spent big for the "steal," but will it pay off? Revenue from a parking garage will help the city to recover their investment. Increased property taxes from growth in surrounding businesses is what the city wants to take a big chunk out of their sizeable nut. My suggestion is Worcester not repeat the mistake of another gem, the Hanover Theatre, and make parking difficult. Click the podcast below for my explanation.
