Tensions are growing among picketing union nurses as their strike against Tenet Healthcare owned Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester enters its second week. Some "angels of mercy" from the Massachusetts Nurses Association are ignoring the Nightingale Oath and acting more like union thugs. The photo above was taken by a replacement worker who was being transported with others to Saint Vincent by a bus from a secure location. The arrival of "scab" workers is greeted with taunts and their access is blocked by picketers until police move them aside. One hundred and fifteen of the hospital's eight hundred nurses have decide to cross picket lines and work. These individuals are reporting bullying by union officials and nurses both in person and on line. Their names have been posted on a Facebook page along with veiled threats.
