"Hope is the best medicine."
Julie Flynn coined the expression while discussing her battle with a rare and deadly disease. What does it mean to people suffering with VHL and how can you help? VHL or von Hippel-Lindau disease is a genetic form of cancer. VHL patients battle a series of tumors throughout their lives. TheVHLgene controls the major feeding pipeline of every tumor. Curing VHL is one step closer to curing many other forms of cancer. This disease claimed Julie's life 15 months ago, but her spirit and determination live on. Please join us this Sunday on June 23,2019 at Grafton High School from 11-3 for the second annual festival of Hope. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the VHL Alliance. This money will help fund young adults to attend the Julie Flynn Hope Retreat.
