(Southwest Harbor, ME) -- A restaurant that uses marijuana to sedate lobsters before they're cooked is under investigation by the state. According to the Portland Press Herald the owner of Charlotte's Leghendary Lobster Pound has temporarily stopped selling the crustaceans while the health department looks at how people who eat them could be affected. In a statement, the animal rights group PETA said it doesn't think getting a lobster high would keep it from feeling pain. The restaurant owner disagrees, saying it's a more humane way to kill them.
