NE Patriots Buy The Jets

Should we call it "Air-Kraft" or "GOAT-Force One?"

The New England Patriots have bought the jets. No, not the losers from New York. According to ESPN, the Pats have purchased two Boeing 767 jets. The five-time Super Bowl champions have just won again. They’re now the first NFL franchise that will fly their own planes to games.

The Pats’ new planes are estimated to cost about $10 million. Last season, the Pats passed $4 million to charter companies for flights to their road games. When they’re not being used by the team, the Patriots will reportedly rent the aircraft out.

One of the jets will be used to bring the team, staff and equipment to away games, the other will serve as a backup.
