A judge has dismissed the motor vehicle homicide charge against a man over a pedestrian death in Worcester.
Michael Stanton of Shrewsbury was driving a car that struck and killed a 58-year-old man in 2018.
The judge yesterday dismissed charges of motor vehicle homicide and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Officials say the victim was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
Stanton was found responsible for unsafe operation of a vehicle and failure to slow for a pedestrian and fined 100-dollars.
