Bride Devastated After Groom Kicks Her Face During Wedding Day Lap Dance

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something... bruised? That was the case for one bride who took a heel to the face while her shirtless husband playfully gave her a wedding day lap dance.

Professional hockey player Adam Gaudette, who plays for the Vancouver Canucks, thought it would be fun to show off his sexy moves to his new wife in front of all their guests, but the sultry dance quickly turned into an embarrassment when, as he attempted to bring his leg over her head, he accidentally kicked her in the face. It was, of course, all caught on video and shared to TikTok.

After connecting with his wife's jaw, Adam immediately stopped dancing and started kissing his bride, Micaela, clearly remorseful for what happened. He walked her off the dance floor and in text over the video, Micaela wrote, "I seem fine but my head was throbbing and I went into the bathroom and cried for a little."

In the caption, she explained things further, saying, "He felt insanely bad but it was fine because we ended up partying until 8 am with our best friends."

Commenters seemed to appreciate the clip though, writing things like, "Note to self - don't marry the karate kid," "I would've cried from the embarrassment and the pain. Oh my god," and "That gasp when his foot made contact OMGGGG." One also pointed out how sweet it was that Adam felt so bad when it happened, noting, "I love how concerned he was immediately for you though like goals."

The clip was posted last week but the pair actually got married on June 20. No word on where the nuptials happened or what kind of social distancing guidelines were in place at it.

As for the lap dance, there is no explanation on why they chose to have one at their wedding.
