Governor: Earliest Schools Open Will Be May 4th

Governor Baker is keeping schools closed in Massachusetts until at least May 4th.

He had hoped to open the schools by April 7th but the spike in the number of confirmed cases in the state prompted the change of heart.

Baker said that all non-emergency day care centers are expected to remain closed as well.

15 people have died and more than 18 hundred cases have been reported in the state.
