TISBURY, MA (WBZ-AM) -- An embarrassing night for an off-duty police chief out on Martha's Vineyard.

The Martha’s Vineyard times reports that Belain ended up inside a stranger's home, scaring the homeowners, who called 9-1-1.
Tisbury Police say they found their island colleague confused and intoxicated. He was escorted to his home a few doors down. No one was hurt.
