Today, July 26, 2023 is Mick Jagger’s 80th birthday. The greatest frontman ever of the greatest rock and roll band in the world is still rolling. Nearly 42 years ago, I was one of the fortunate who scored a ticket to a surprise Rolling Stones concert at Worcester’s Sir Morgan’s Cove. I stood six feet from the stage and here’s the story:
