Massachusetts State Trooper And Father Of Six Killed On This Day in 2016.

Trooper Thomas Clardy was killed on the Mass Pike in Charlton on March 16, 2016. He was in his patrol car working on an accident reduction project when another vehicle crossed three travel lanes and struck him from behind. Trooper Clardy was a ten year veteran of the Massachusetts State Police and served in both the US Marine Corps and Us Army. He leaves behind a wife and six children.
