A private investigator claims that Seth Rich, the Democratic National Committee staffer who was gunned down last summer in Washington, D.C., was the source of thousand of emails leaked to Wikileaks. Rich's family is disputing the that claim.
Rod Wheeler, who was hired by a third party to investigate the circumstances surrounding Rich's death, said his investigation has turned up a "degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and Wikileaks."
Rich was talking on his cellphone when a gunman approached him from behind and shot him in the head. Police have claimed the incident was a botched robbery, although the assailant did not take Rich's wallet, watch or cellphone.
