Hillary Clinton is using her old 'I don't recall' defense again.

Asked on Tuesday if she had ever speculated about assassinating Wikileaks founder Julian Assange during her tenure as Secretary of State, Clinton said she didn't remember making the remark.

A report citing anonymous State Department sources surfaced this week claiming that in 2010 Clinton suggested that the U.S. "drone" Assange, whose website had embarrassed the U.S. when it published diplomatic cables, among other documents.

“Can’t we just drone this guy?” Clinton allegedly had said.

Responding to a reporter's question on the campaign trail, Clinton issued a carefully worded non-denial denial about the incident.

“I don't recall any joke,” Clinton said, when asked about the allegations at a press conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday. “It would have been a joke, if it had been said, but I don't recall that.”
