BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com)— The MBTA revised its cellphone policy on Monday and will suspend MBTA train and bus drivers for having their cellphones or any electronic devices while they are on duty.

MBTA drivers will face a 30-day discharge for possessing and using their cellphone while they are working. The previous policy prohibited operators from having their cellphones while they worked but would only penalize drivers for using the devices.
