He may rail against others who have too much money, but that didn't stop Sen. Bernie Sanders from raking in a personal fortune for himself last year. According to the U.S. Senate financial disclosure that he filed on Sunday, Sanders made more than $1 million in 2016. The bulk of the money came from the $795,000 advance Sanders received for his book, "Our Revolution." Sanders also received over $63,000 for an upcoming book, and pocketed nearly $7,000 in royalties for his 1997 memoir, "Outsider in the House."
