Today is the ransom deadline for those attacked by the "WannaCry" computer virus.  The hackers are demanding that victims of the global cyberattack pay a fee to regain control of their computers or face losing their data.  A report in the "New York Times" says, however, that most victims appear to be calling the hackers' bluff and are refusing to pay.  An online tracking system earlier today showed the amount of Bitcoin ransom sent to the hackers' accounts had come to only 90-thousand dollars.

Early estimates of what the virus could earn were in the tens-of-millions to the hundreds-of-millions of dollars.  Cybersecurity experts are advising victims of the cyberattack not to pay.
